Today’s post is exciting! If you follow me on Twitter you would have seen that on Wednesday I received my package from Beauty Bay, so I thought I would do a haul / unboxing with you! I bought two of the products in this haul and when you spend over a certain amount of money, Beauty Bay adds 6 other products to your package for free! Lately I have become super obsessed with this company, like many bloggers have! At the end of this post, I’ll include a list of other products I have recently purchased from them, which I will be reviewing in the next couple of days.
I’ll start off with the 6 free products I was kindly sent then move onto what I actually purchased myself. If you want to see what I got, please keep on reading! 🙂
First up is the Mario Badescu Cucumber Cleansing Lotion. I was super excited when I seen this little guy in my package but when I read the back of the bottle, it says it’s designed for normal to oily/combination skin which means I won’t be able to use it. My friend however, is extremely excited to give it a go so I have given it to her.
This lotion is meant to be a refreshing, cucumber-infused toner that cools, soothes and helps clarify and minimize excess oil and shine.
This retails for $15.00 on the Mario Badescu website and $18.70 on Beauty Bay.
Next up we have Verso Night Cream with Retinol 8. This is the first time I have ever heard of this brand but by looking on their website, I’m really liking what I see! This night cream is meant to calm, repair and rejuvenate your skin. Retinol 8 is a stabilized Vitamin A complex, eight times more effective than standard Retinol and half as irritative. It kicks the rejuvenation process into a higher gear by boosting the skin’s natural production of collagen. This soft and nourishing night cream makes your skin less prone to react to external stress of modern life.
I am super excited to give this a go! This retails for a whooping $110.00 on the Verso website and $53.80 if you get it in a travel size kit on Beauty Bay.
Next up, two products by Beauty Blender which are the blender cleanser in solid and liquid. So excited to try these out as I use my beauty blender all the time when I do my makeup and have been meaning to buy these products myself!
The solid cleanser is meant to support the integrity of the blender as well as removes excessive residue and germs for clean makeup application. This retails for $16.00 on Beauty Blenders website and Beauty Bay only has the blender cleanser solid PRO which retails for $62.40 if you wanted to get that one.
The liquid cleanser was created to soak out tough stains while maintaining the integrity of beauty blender’s exclusive material. This retails for $18.00 on Beauty Blenders website and $23.40 on Beauty Bay.
Next up is a product from Laura Geller and that is the Spackle Treatment Makeup Primer. I am so excited to try this! I have the Baked Radiance Cream Concealer by Laura Geller and am in love with it so I’m hoping this baby is just as amazing!
Laura Geller’s website says: Create a flawless canvas for extended makeup wear while color-correcting the appearance of skin discoloration, both instantly and over time. This universally flattering pinky peach hue adds a subtle soft-focus effect to minimize the look of imperfections while delivering a radiant, natural skin finish. Over time, the skincare-infused formula helps to even skin tone, enhance clarity and diminish the appearance of dark spots for a flawless complexion.
This retails for $32.00 on Laura Geller’s website and $34.60 on Beauty Bay.
The last product I was kindly sent for free is another one I am super excited for and that is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. I’ve heard so many good things about this brow gel and I currently don’t have a clear one so this is going to be used a lot! If you didn’t know, ABH is one of my favourite makeup brands and I’m stoked to have this guy added to my growing collection!
This product is meant to be a long-wearing, invisible brush-on gel for all hair colors that sets, defines, and holds brows in place. Apply Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel in short upward strokes as a finishing topcoat, or alone, for a clean, polished look.
This retails for $22.00 on ABH website and $38.90 on Beauty Bay.
Products I purchased myself:
Moving onto the products I purchased myself! First up is a product from the brand Alpha-H! I was on Beauty Bay whizzing through the site, as you do and came across this brand that I have actually never heard of before. The one product that caught my eye instantly was the Moisture Boosting Facial Mist with Witch Hazel! I bought it straight away because my skin needs all the moisture boosting it can get! This bottle feels so luxurious guys! It’s such a sleek, smooth texture and do not get me started on the scent! I am so freaking excited to use this!
Alpha-H website says: A facial spritz that instantly refreshes thirsty skin using hydrating botanicals such as Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, Chamomile, Mandarin, Orange Blossom, Grape Fruit and the calming essential oil of Lavender. Moisture Boosting Facial Mist is perfect for when your skin needs revitalising, an instant pick-me-up or after prolonged sun exposure. It is also ideal during flights or when spending long periods of time in air-conditioned environments that drain the skin of its natural moisture.
This retails for $21.00 on Alpha-H website and $14.00 on Beauty Bay.
And last but certainly not least, the product I am most excited to show you guys! I FINALLY bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette! I am so freaking excited, you have no idea! To have this baby in my hands is just amazing! I can now see what all the hype about this palette is now and I can’t wait to create looks using it! I’m sure that anyone who purchased this palette was super excited like I am now!
This Palette retails for $42.00 on ABH website and $75.98 on Beauty Bay.
